The Allure of Travel

Travel is just an Amazing gift! Because, it gives us the opportunity to re-invent ourselves. Every time we leave our home turf and step into foreign soil, we experience life anew. When we travel, we open ourselves to new places, their breathtaking vistas and dynamic cities. We get to share stolen moments on sun kissed beaches or walk down winding alleyways. We are simply not the selves we left at home. That mon ami - is the allure of travel!

So is this so called Wanderlust addictive? You bet , it is! As a boy, I use to look at the globe and want to see every inch, to get to all the corners and understand the different ways in which people live. In Iceland, for instance, they really believe in trolls. You cant possibly grasp the significance of their belief without going there. Or for example, you really cant get a feel of the late night revelry that the Spaniards indulge in until you make a trip to Madrid and catch the Madrileños in full throttle way past midnight! You could have possibly seen hundreds of pictures trying to capture the spectacular views of Machu pichu in peru. But unless you are there in person and immerse yourself in the magical 360 degree views, you will not be able to comprehend what you are missing!
